Biography
William Hogarth (1786–1866) was an English Catholic priest who devoted his life to religious service and pastoral care. His ministry spanned most of the nineteenth century, during a time when the Catholic Church in England was experiencing renewal and growth following centuries of restriction.
Hogarth's commitment to his faith and his community was recognized through his long service in the priesthood. He was buried at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens, a significant Catholic seminary and spiritual center in County Durham, reflecting his place within the English Catholic tradition.
