William Holcombe

Biography

William Holcombe (1804-1870) guided Fairview's civic life with a calm hand, attending to both public duties and the friendships that kept the town close-knit.

Fairview Cemetery holds his remains, and the memorials there recall how he drew people together in times of triumph and trial.
