William Morgan
1750–1833 (age 83)
Biography
Born in 1750, William Morgan completed his medical training and established himself as a physician whose steady hand and observant mind earned the trust of families across London; he was attentive to both the maladies of the mind and body and to the evolving science of medicine.
Throughout decades of practice at Hornsey he offered comfort to the sick, shared his knowledge with apprentices, and helped to strengthen the modest charity efforts of the parish, passing away in 1833 and finding his final rest in the tower of the old parish church of St Mary.
