William Purkiss

Biography

William Purkiss was a lawyer who practised in Western Australia during the latter nineteenth century. His legal expertise contributed to the development of the colony's legal institutions and the administration of justice.

Purkiss's career in law reflected the professionalism and learning required of the colonial bar. He died in 1906 and was interred at Karrakatta Cemetery.
