Biography

William Reed Jr. (1842–1913) devoted himself to service of family and community, remaining a constant presence through times of both hardship and joy. His calm reliability provided comfort to many around him.

He cherished the quiet rhythms of daily life and the shared traditions that bound his circle together, and his memory is honored at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
