William Simpson

Biography

William Simpson, born in 1812, took pride in the craftsmanship of his work and the dependability of his friendships as he weathered the changes of mid-nineteenth-century Pennsylvania.

He remained committed to his church, to mentoring younger citizens, and to remembering the sacrifices of neighbors who served in wartime, and his calm influence was celebrated by loved ones after his death in 1888.
