William Smith Tallmadge

Biography

William Smith Tallmadge was born in 1785 and came of age in the early years of the American republic. Though his life was relatively brief, he lived during a period of growth and development in the young nation.

Tallmadge passed away in 1822 at the age of thirty-seven and was interred at Leicester Cemetery. His grave remains a part of the historical record of his community and family.
