Biography

William Sydney Noel Curle (1885-1918) answered the call to service as a military officer, leading with steadiness and an unfailing sense of responsibility for the young men under his command.

He fell near the close of the war, and his comrades laid him to rest in Premont British Cemetery, where the medals of his sacrifice and the memory of his leadership continue to inspire.
