William T. Perkins, Jr. (1947–1967) was a United States Marine whose valor in Vietnam earned him the Medal of Honor posthumously when he protected wounded comrades under fire. His courage exemplified the highest traditions of the Corps, and his sacrifice inspired fellow Marines and citizens alike.
