William W. Fife

Biography

William W. Fife (1857-1897) was an architect whose designs helped define the look of late nineteenth-century Utah, blending practical craftsmanship with a sense of civic pride in each residence and public building he created.

His work lives on in the structures that still shelter families today, and he rests in Ogden City Cemetery among those who shared his love for the region.
