William W. Wilshire (1830–1888) was a lawyer and public servant who carried Arkansas’ interests to the national stage as a U.S. Representative after the Civil War. Known for his diligent approach to legislation, he worked to reestablish the state’s voice in Congress and to foster legal integrity in a time of reconstruction.
