Biography
William Wrigley Jr. turned a small Chicago soap and baking powder venture into the Wrigley Company, building the brand around his famous chewing gums and making names such as Juicy Fruit and Wrigley's Spearmint ubiquitous across America.
He put his fortune back into Chicago through the Wrigley Building and Wrigley Field while also supporting civic causes, and after relocating to Southern California he was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
