Biography
Willy Hund-Smit was a Dutch sculptor whose artistic career spanned much of the twentieth century. Working primarily in the modernist tradition, he created works that reflected the evolving aesthetic sensibilities of his era.
Born in 1917, Hund-Smit dedicated his life to sculptural practice, leaving a lasting impression on Dutch contemporary art. He was laid to rest at Zorgvlied Cemetery in Amsterdam, a final resting place befitting his cultural contributions.
