Biography

Wincenty Norwerth (1787–1854) was a Polish figure of the late 18th and 19th centuries who lived through a transformative period in Polish history. Though limited biographical details survive, his life spanned the Napoleonic era and the subsequent period of Russian partition, during which he maintained his presence in Warsaw society.

Norwerth was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery, one of Warsaw's most significant burial grounds, reflecting his standing within the community. His grave remains part of the historical record of this important Polish institution.
