Biography

Witold Makowiecki was a Polish writer whose literary contributions enriched Polish cultural life during the 20th century. Born in 1902, he developed his craft as a writer during the interwar years and the challenging World War II era.

Makowiecki's written works reflected the intellectual and artistic currents of his time. He survived the war years and continued his literary pursuits until his death in 1946. His legacy as a writer is preserved in Polish literary history, and he was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery.
