Biography
Witold Stefański (1891–1973) was a Polish zoologist whose scientific work contributed to the study and understanding of animal life and natural history in Poland. His career in zoology spanned the greater part of the twentieth century, a period of significant advancement in biological sciences.
Stefański's contributions to zoological research and education remain part of Poland's scientific heritage. He was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, where he is honored among Poland's distinguished scientists and naturalists.
