Biography

Vyacheslav Leonidovich Glasychev was a renowned Russian architect and urban theorist born in 1940. He became one of the most influential architectural voices in post-Soviet Russia, known for his innovative approaches to urban design and his critical engagement with contemporary architectural practice.

Glasychev's career spanned decades, during which he shaped discussions about architecture, urbanism, and cultural development. His intellectual contributions extended beyond building design to encompass broader questions of spatial organization and social space. He died in 2012 and was buried at Vvedenskoye Cemetery in Moscow.
