Biography
Wolfgang Maria Czernin (1766–1813) was an Austrian military officer who served the Habsburg Empire during the Napoleonic Wars. As a member of the prominent Czernin family, one of the most influential noble houses in Bohemia, he participated in the military campaigns that defined the early 19th century and shaped the future of Central Europe.
Wolfgang Maria's military career spanned the turbulent period of the Napoleonic conflicts, during which the Austrian Empire faced significant challenges to its territorial integrity and power. He was laid to rest in the Černín tomb in Vinoř, the ancestral burial place of his distinguished family.
