Biography
Yanaki Tenchov devoted his life to paleontology, leading expeditions across Bulgaria and championing the study of prehistoric life with a steady hand and keen eye. His work at museum collections and dedication to field research helped illuminate the country’s ancient ecosystems and inspired a generation of scientists.
Through mentorship and collaboration with peers both at home and abroad, he left a legacy of rigorous curiosity and warmth that continues to inspire the paleontological community and visitors to Central Sofia Cemetery.
