Biography

Yeiki Kobashigawa earned the Medal of Honor for extraordinary courage with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, leading his squad through perilous battles in Italy and saving fellow soldiers.

His bravery reflected the determination of Japanese Americans who served despite prejudice, and he now rests at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific among fellow heroes.
