Yekaterina Petrovna Rostopchina (1776–1859) was a lady-in-waiting at the Imperial court, serving in a position of honor and responsibility within the Russian aristocracy. Her role placed her at the center of court life and the social circles of Imperial Russia's elite.
Rostopchina's long life of 83 years spanned nearly the entire 19th century, allowing her to witness the profound transformations of Russian society. She was interred at the Vvedenskoye Cemetery, a burial ground befitting her status and service to the Imperial household.
