Biography

Yenişehirli Avni (1826–1883) was a celebrated Ottoman poet whose verses enriched the literary heritage of the Ottoman Empire. His poetic works reflected the aesthetic refinement and intellectual sophistication of mid-19th-century Ottoman culture.
