Biography

Yevgeni Preobrazhensky was a prominent Soviet economist and Bolshevik politician who played a significant role in economic debates during the 1920s. Born in 1886, he was known for his theoretical work on Soviet economic development and his participation in important policy discussions that shaped the direction of the early Soviet state.

Preobrazhensky's intellectual contributions to Soviet economic thought and his political involvement earned him recognition within Soviet circles, resulting in his burial at Donskoe Cemetery. His work represented important currents of thought in early Soviet political economy. He died in 1937.
