Yosef Cohen

Biography

Yosef Cohen, who served with distinction during the tumultuous years of statehood’s birth, embodied courage and commitment on the front lines. His efforts in defense of the homeland reflected a deep sense of duty to Israel’s future.

Though his life was cut short, Cohen is remembered by comrades and the nation alike for his valor and the sacrifices he made at Kiryat Shaul Military Cemetery.
