Zalmon Wildman

Biography

Zalmon Wildman was born in 1775 and lived through the transformative decades of the early American republic. His life of 60 years allowed him to witness the nation's founding, its early growth, and the development of his community from frontier settlement toward established society.

Wildman passed away in 1835 and was interred at Wooster Cemetery. His lifetime connected the Revolutionary era to the antebellum period, making him a living link to the nation's formative years.
