Biography
Zara DuPont dedicated her energy and her prominent family name to the cause of women's suffrage and civic reform in the early twentieth century. She lent her voice to campaigns, served on committees that shaped public policy, and encouraged women to take their rightful place in the political life of the nation.
After the vote was won, DuPont continued to champion educational opportunities and labor rights, believing that a fully engaged citizenry would further strengthen democracy and the communities of which she was proud to be a part.
