Biography

Zdzisław Rutkowski (1838–1861) was a young man whose life was cut short in the mid-nineteenth century. Though his years were few, he lived during a significant period in Polish history.

Rutkowski was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery, one of Warsaw's most important burial grounds, where he remains remembered.
