Biography
Zefiryn Ćwikliński (1871–1930) was a distinguished Polish painter who worked during the modernist period. He was part of the artistic renaissance that flourished in Zakopane, a town that attracted many of Poland's most talented visual artists.
Ćwikliński's artistic practice contributed to the vibrant cultural scene of early 20th century Poland. His legacy is preserved in the New Cemetery in Zakopane, where he was interred, among other notable artists and intellectuals of his generation.
