Biography

Zibifer Kadın lived during the early 19th century in the Ottoman Empire. Little is extensively documented about her life, though her burial at Selim Üsküdar Mosque indicates her connection to Istanbul's prominent families and institutions.

She represents the women of the Ottoman elite during a period of significant historical change. Her memory is preserved through her final resting place in one of Istanbul's notable religious structures.
