Biography

Zipora Kagan was a guiding light in literary theory, bringing a deeply human center to analyses of Hebrew and world literature and encouraging students to listen to the rhythms of texts as well as their histories.

Her work in Southwest Haifa and beyond nurtured generations of scholars, helping them find their own voices and reminding them that books can be both mirrors and bridges.
