Biography
Žofie Petrová was a Czech woman who lived from 1896 to 1970. She spent her life during a period of significant change in Central Europe, from the final decades of the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the establishment and development of Czechoslovakia.
Petrová's nearly seventy-four years of life encompassed some of the most transformative events in Czech history. She was interred in the Cemetery in Židenice, where she is remembered as a valued member of the Prague community.
