Singer Zola Taylor lent her velvet voice to The Platters, helping define the golden era of rhythm and blues and inspiring young women who wanted to make music with heart and fire.

She remained a gracious mentor to aspiring artists, and her loving circle remembers visiting her at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where she now rests in peace.
