Biography
Zsuzsanna Korkes was a distinguished Hungarian ethnologist whose scholarly work explored the cultural and social dimensions of Hungarian society. Born in 1954, she pursued academic research and fieldwork in ethnology during the latter decades of the twentieth century.
Korkes's contributions to ethnological study reflected her dedication to understanding Hungarian cultural heritage and traditions. She maintained an active scholarly career until her death in 2009 and was interred at Fiume Road Graveyard.
