Biography

Zvi Doriel spent decades as a diplomat representing the young state abroad, working to forge friendships, to explain Israel’s challenges, and to celebrate its commonalities with other nations.

He believed diplomacy was as much about listening as speaking, and after returning to Jerusalem he continued to mentor diplomats, urging them to carry both honour and curiosity into every negotiation.
