Biography

Zygmunt Otto (1874–1944) was a Polish citizen who participated in the Warsaw Uprising, the heroic but ultimately unsuccessful armed rebellion against Nazi occupation in 1944. His participation in this pivotal moment of Polish resistance demonstrated his commitment to Polish independence and freedom during the darkest period of World War II.

Otto's involvement in the Warsaw Uprising, one of the most significant acts of resistance during the Nazi occupation, reflected the courage and determination of ordinary Poles who fought for their nation's liberation.
