Biography
Zygmunt Wawrzyniak was a promising young student whose life was cut short during the turbulent post-war years. Born in 1926, he represented the generation of Poles who came of age during the Second World War and its immediate aftermath.
Wawrzyniak's brief life ended in 1946 at the age of twenty. He was interred at the Catholic cemetery in Koło, where his memory is preserved as a reminder of the sacrifices made by Poland's youth during this difficult period.
