Biography

Sylvester Tsvetkov (1781–1823) was an Eastern Orthodox priest whose pastoral ministry spanned the early decades of the 19th century. His forty-two years of life were devoted to spiritual service and the guidance of the faithful within the Russian Orthodox Church during a period of significant social change.

Tsvetkov's dedication to his ecclesiastical vocation was honored through his burial at the Khutyn Monastery, a spiritually significant site that served as a center of monastic life and Orthodox learning. His final resting place reflects the reverence accorded to those who devoted their lives to the service of the Church.
