Aleksandr Grekov was a skilled iconographer whose artistic work reflected the spiritual and cultural traditions of Russian Orthodox Christianity. His iconographic works demonstrated mastery of this sacred artistic tradition.

Grekov's contributions to religious art preserved important aspects of Russian cultural and spiritual heritage. He was laid to rest at Khutyn Monastery, a site of spiritual significance.
