Biography
Feodoty (Ozerov) (1797–1858) was an Eastern Orthodox priest who served the faithful in Ulyanovsk during the 19th century. As a member of the clergy, he participated in the spiritual life of his community during a period when the Orthodox Church remained central to Russian identity and social structure.
Living through the reigns of Alexander I and Nicholas I, Father Feodoty witnessed the Church's role in Russian society amid broader social and political transformations.
