Biography

Vladimir Andreyevich Lehovich (1860–1941) dedicated many years to service as a military officer, guiding men and women through the shifting landscapes of late Imperial Russia with steady discipline and quiet resolve. He was respected for a calm demeanor that steadied those around him even in uncertain times.

In his later years he stayed close to fellow compatriots in France, where their shared experiences brought solace; he now rests at Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, a place where visitors reflect on the order he strove to sustain.
