Biography

Сергей Сергеевич Погуляев was a Russian figure who lived through the dramatic transformations of early twentieth-century Russia. He witnessed the decline of Imperial rule and the rise of Soviet power during his lifetime.

Погуляев eventually became part of the Russian émigré community in France, where he spent his final years. He was laid to rest at the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, a sanctuary for many members of the displaced Russian diaspora.
