Biography

Mstislav Petrovich Ermakov was a Russian figure who witnessed the dramatic changes of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He lived through the transformative events that shaped modern Russian history.

Ermakov spent his final decades as part of the Russian émigré community in Western Europe. He was laid to rest at Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, where he joined many others who had fled Russia in search of safety and stability.
