Biography

Виссарион (Зорин) (1878-1937) was an Eastern Orthodox priest who dedicated his ministry to spiritual care and pastoral service. Fr. Виссарион was executed at the Butovo firing range in 1937 as part of Stalin's campaign to eliminate the Orthodox clergy. His martyrdom stands as a witness to the courage of those who refused to renounce their faith in the face of state persecution.
