Biography
Abe Saperstein, born in 1902, transformed his love of sports into a pioneering career as the founder of the Harlem Globetrotters, a team that delighted audiences with athleticism, artistry, and humor. He began promoting games in the Chicago area, believing basketball could bridge cultural divides and bring communities together through shared excitement.
