Biography

Agnes Havemeyer, born in 1867, belonged to a family deeply involved in the civic and cultural life of her city, bringing youthful compassion to the causes she held dear. Though her time was brief, she offered encouragement to the artisans, friends, and young people around her, demonstrating a lively intellect and gracious heart wherever she went.
