Biography
Akaki Kvitaishvili (1893–1966) was a Georgian military officer whose service reflected the turbulent military and political history of the Caucasus region during the twentieth century. His military career encompassed periods of significant conflict and geopolitical change in the region.
Kvitaishvili spent his final years in exile in France, maintaining ties to the Georgian émigré community. He was buried at Leuville Cemetery, a significant burial ground for Georgian émigrés, reflecting his enduring connection to his homeland and its diaspora.
