Biography

Akiva Aryeh Weiss (1868–1947) was an architect and visionary who helped lead the establishment of Tel Aviv, shaping the city through his commitment to modern planning.

He championed the creation of Ahuzat Bayit and other early neighborhoods, ensuring that his architectural ideals endured in the pulse of the new Hebrew city, and he rests in Trumpeldor cemetery.
