Biography

Aleksandr Krupensky (1861–1939) was a committed public servant whose work reflected the complicated currents of Russian politics in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Throughout his years away from Russia he was respected for his thoughtful counsel, and today his name rests with others at Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery as a testament to his lifelong involvement in civic affairs.
