Biography

Alexander Graeme was a distinguished naval officer whose service spanned the latter half of the eighteenth century. His career reflected the maritime traditions of Scotland during a period of significant naval expansion and international conflict.

Graeme's contributions to naval service earned him respect among his contemporaries and secured his place in Scotland's maritime heritage. He was laid to rest in Greyfriars Kirkyard, one of Edinburgh's most historic burial grounds, where many notable figures of his era were interred.
