Biography

Amasa Junius Parker, born in 1807, spent his career as a lawyer, judge, and congressman, helping to guide the young nation’s legal system with careful reasoning.

He later shared his experience with students and peers alike, always attentive to fairness, and he now rests in Albany Rural Cemetery amid the community he served.
